- Loan Recapture. Turn a loss into a revenue opportunity. Our listing agents can require all prospective buyers to be prequalified with PartnerFirst preferred lenders—giving you the chance to recapture the loan on the short sale property. Whether or not a buyer’s offer is accepted, you’ll have begun a relationship that can apply to any subsequent purchase. Now, imagine that expanding to include every would-be buyer on every short sale ...
- Reduced loss mitigation staffing costs. Pre-Foreclosure Specialist Certified (PSC) agents are trained specifically to reduce the stress on servicers’ loss mitigation resources.
- Increased short sale closing ratios. Short sales involve complex, non-traditional activities which many agents aren’t familiar with. PartnerFirst bridges the knowledge gap, training agents to manage these transactions effectively from first contact to close. That means improved closing ratios for servicers.
- Reduced loan loss severities. PSC agents in the PartnerFirst network embrace their duty to close sales as close as possible to fair market value. They recognize the legitimate need of investors to limit their losses, and work to accomplish that.
- Brand-neutral policy. Brand neutrality ensures that homeowners have a diverse group of agents and real estate brands to choose from. Servicers can confidently refer defaulting homeowners to the PartnerFirst agent database, knowing they’ll have a wide pool of certified agents ready to help them.
- Find-an-Agent homeowner referral database. When borrowers are proactive, it saves time and effort for you. PartnerFirst’s agent database represents a simple, single-point entry for defaulting homeowners seeking an agent. They can select from a convenient list specific to their neighborhoods.
- Minority Outreach Initiative (MOI). By partnering with the National Hispanic Organization of Real Estate Associates (NHORA), the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), PartnerFirst helps bring stability and sustainability to minority housing markets. We note with pride that minority representation in our agent network exceeds ratios in the general population. Find out more.
- FDCPA and RESPA-compliant policy. The liability concerns of our clients are important to us, so we take care to make sure our outreach efforts stay within the boundaries of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act—and the Real Estate Settlement Practices Act.
Beyond Agent Certification
PartnerFirst training modules are tailored to the specific needs of each component servicer. Our agent management services platform facilitates communication between homeowner, servicer and listing agent. We help our agents comply with your procedural requirements, from the initial listing agreement through the marketing and settlement period.
Homeowner File Placement
PartnerFirst provides a special secure webpage for homeowner information. When a homeowner decides to pursue a short sale, your staff can note this on the webpage, entering only the ZIP Code. PartnerFirst then alerts multiple qualified agents in the area on a blind basis. To protect the privacy rights of the homeowner, PartnerFirst limits the information provided to agents, who receive specific information from the component servicer only after accepting an assignment.
Typically, each file can be sourced to an appropriate agent within minutes. The first qualified agent to respond receives the assignment. That agent is immediately tasked to contact the borrower within 48 hours to schedule a listing appointment. Once a property is listed for sale, PartnerFirst continues to monitor agent activity and performance through closing—and beyond. Results are reported on a secure lead management portal. PartnerFirst provides servicers with real-time tracking and status reporting updates.
